Invisible Injury, Big Impact on the Workplace
Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) occurs every 23 seconds in this country. TBI can affect a person’s ability to think, feel, touch, speak, see and remember. Even people with mild TBI have trouble concentrating and staying on task when recovering from their injury. The return-to-work rates for people with TBI range from 20 percent to 70 percent, and many remain on disability for years.
